never knew i would like choppin off my hair so much. dun need wait one million years to let it dry, dun need use so much shampoo, dun need worry about hair dropping every time i shake my head (haha).

let it grow out s-l-o-w-l-y.

these past few days

supposed to meet at cck mrt at 8am..haha but i'm still not asleep yet. sure confirm cannot wake up wan.

time passes by so quickly! 2 weeks of the 1st mth of electives have already flashed by. really enriching i must say. haha many times we find ourselves saying - wah this feels like a real posting la.

almost everything is geared towards prepping us for the big exam in yr 5. not that we are complaining =) but the electives also allow us to explore the other side of medicine, the human touch to medicine.
not havin to rush to meet deadlines, mug for end of posting tests, we have more time to ourselves - having conversations with patients, thoroughly examining them, and then reinforcing whatever concepts we have picked up along the way.

and neurologists are reaaaallly nice pple. we haven met any mean ones..at all! hahaa..and when i mean nice - i mean, they really go an extra mile in teaching you, in helping you, in just making you feel happy coming to sch. hahaa

nerd talk aside,
beanbean (haha) and I have been eating/drinking lots of mr bean soya stuff. and our cg have trotted down to join the unbelievably-long-free-ben&jerry's cone-day-queue.
and the half-price starbucks day at ttsh is coming up soon.
and the states the states the states - is coming closer and closer. haha

plus i kinda found my ethics case writeup today. now it's jus..aiming to finish it by the end of neuro electives.

jan+yan: hello when you read this! haha realised tt i haven replied to ure comments yet, anyway okay ill let the rest know that you two are joining us for our trips after the electives! we'll be going to DC during the electives per se, like over the weekend - so it'll be plan B! the plan B that i emailed you =) haha

these last few days

that's dee's 21st bday - almost 2 yrs ago. hehe thankews dee for being my huge pillar for me to lean on, tickle, poke and..jus being there, especially thru the down-times. it's fascinating how you can make me smile even when im crying, laugh even when im super tired. well there's no occasion or anything, but i just wanna remember how wonderful you have been in my life. and thus, i'm writing this. for you! =)

neuro elective has been enriching, but tt means it's tiring too! but the tutors are all really helpful and willing to teach - so that makes it a whole lot more bearable. it's slowly slowly becoming less of a mystery, the whole process about diagnosing neurological cases. wow.

hearing from those close to my heart who are miles and miles away from home always bring a big smile to my face. i'm glad you guys are doing fine and i really cant wait to see you and ure pics soon!

meeting the best fren tmr and THEN, gonna meet the rest to discuss detailed travel plans.

but yes i'm sleepy..time to sleep.

from little girls in pinafores and white blouses-blue skirts with ties, to white blouse-green skirts, and to almost-working adults, we've seen each other thru' the years. now we look back with laughter and smiles. and i know these are friends i wanna keep for a long long long long long long time. =)

hehe our favourite dining spot -- menotti. i know wad PTY means liao and the PTY pose is quite..ermm..contagious. PTY try to squeeeze into our photo but jojo dunch let her. =))) but me still lurve PTY.

after teenage mutant ninja turtlesss. during which i think i dozed off for 5 min..and thus, disappointing dee (i think). but this little boy that i brought out was happy cus he got to watch the turtles and dig into a huge burger and yummy fries.
